Personal life Born in Hong Kong on July 16, 1984, Katrina is one of eight siblings, seven girls and one boy. Her parents are British citizens, with her father being originally from Kashmir, India. She grew up in Hawaii, and later moved to London, UK. She grew up in Hawaii and then moved to London. Katrina Kaif is one amonst the most attractive Bollywood actress of the recent times. There are a few reasons which shot Katrina to overnight fame. the major amongst them were the rumors bout her affair with Salman Khan, her work in Boom. But the most important of them all is her unusual beauty.

Professional life At the age of 14, Kaif started modeling for a jewelry campaign in London, and was subsequently discovered by filmmaker Kaizad Gustad, who gave her a part in his film Boom (year-2003). She moved to Mumbai and was offered a number of modeling assignments. However, filmmakers were at first hesitant to sign her because of her linguistic shortcomings, such as her inability to speak Hindi without a heavy accent. Films that did feature her usually had her voice dubbed over by a native speaker of the film's language.
